highwayman for sale

hi all, i have a lovely commer for sale. reg WTJ 575L. if you want to see what she was like google images of commer highwayman and it should be the first image white and blue. well now it is in its first base coat of coachpaint grey primer, the kitchen has been removed and thrown. there is work to do but she runs well starts easy and gives me a smile every time we go for a ride. no mot yet but will have it soon as not normally wants any work.Anyway contact me (if anybody is interested) [email protected]

Nice one! At long last, we see a coachbuilt turned in to a mobile shop. Well, sort of. The same idea, at least. :)
Great to hear about a Commer which is earning its keep like this !


The last working Commer trade van I saw in London was a battered old Commer PB gown van at the Petticoat Lane market - across the road from Liverpool Street station. Must have been in 1995 or 1996. It was full of boxes containing cheap junk, no doubt, and was a tired old girl. But imagine how desirable that van would have been today.
