Highwayman at Beaulieu Autojumble

Anyone from CVF attending Beaulieu Autojumble this coming weekend? I'll be there on the Classics Monthly stand with my Highwayman, so do say hello. It'll also be my first time for sleeping in it, so fingers crossed. More details http://www.classicsmonthly.com/2010/08/16/shop-til-you-drop-at-beaulieu-autojumbles/

Thanks Jules, good to meet you also.
My first weeknd in the van had it all – some rain, lots of sunshine, great conversations and hopefully some converts to the Commer cause.

I also picked up some bits for next to nothing and was offered an almost free overdrive gearbox and twin carb rapier engine. How could I refuse. It's gonna be a busy winter.

Lots of CVF cake and biscuits left over.

Jammie sod:p I can report that the combination works great[8D] (minus twin carbs)

Will the cake and biscuits keep[?]

To quote Woody Allen, "80% of success is turning up". Which considering my trips to Beaulieu in my other classics over the years have usually been 'eventful', was easy in Bessie Bus. She breezed up and down the A36 much to the surprise of the CM team and a delivery vehicle in hot pursuit.

Im getting good power on twins and they dont seem to go out of tune as bizarrely fast as they do on Triumphs & Volvos (so far...)

Cheers
Jules
