Highwayman aluminium panels

Hello all,

does anyone know the correct gauge of ally for the side panels on a Highwayman. It's thin, but how thin?

Details of a supplier in the Somerset/Wiltshire area would be a real bonus. I need a 3m x 1m section.

Okay CC, point taken.
I did at least search CVF for 20 minutes before asking.

I'll leave the comfort of my excecutive sofa (once the mobile massuese has finished wih the essential oils, naturally:p), and get on my hands and knees with a suitable measuring implement. I never did see my micrometer again after I let some students borrow it a while back. They wanted to measure their papers, apparently.[?]

Done the metal search already, would prefer a discerning recommendation.

we have had metal from ebay & normal supliers we had some delivered recently from metals4u not sure if thats how you spell it though [:eek:)]

The metals4u site looks vey useful, many thanks.
I reckon 0.9 or 1.2 is what I'm after but the longest they list is only 2500mm.

I'll give them a call, 3 metres is probably special order only.

I recomend metals4U, really good, and pretty cheap for a hobby user

Still looking. Although very helpful, metals4u can't supply beyond 2.5m lengths.
Good website and inventory otherwise though.

Might have to take a tin opener out one night and wait in the shadows for a bus to stop[}:)]
