hi mate i am new here as well how it going looking for one i am after a post office van telcom so hard to fing
 
Skyway have a look at my previous post in the For sale section under For sale maybe? There is a guy selling a Sunbeam, but there is what i believe to be a Telecom van in the background not looking very used? As Commeracer says - With a bit of begging you may be in luck?

Mate you need to e-mail him through that website as the number belongs to the website for secrecy reasons. Basicaly you phone that number and follow the instructions at peak rate. I made this mistake like you before as the number looks like a mobile - Which it isn't!!

I have already mailed him to ask if he would consider selling it. Maybe the best thing to do would be to wait until he mails me back and then i will tell you. Reason being - If he is interested in selling it, he may be tempted to hike the price up being that a few people are keen on buying it. Just keeps the cost down for you is all;);). Up to you mate.

Seems to me he is a member here?

The Commer was probably badged as a Dodge, as far as I remember, but it was indeed genuine ex BT and still in fairly original order. It sat in my garden for quite a while but moved on to a new home (for restoration) in Yorkshire earlier this year.



If you wish to inquire about its current situation and/or have a look at other Commer/Dodge vans then I recommend that you visit www.commervanfan.co.uk and then have a look at their forum. BT vans are now pretty rare I should think, though a postbus or two still seem to be knocking around. There were two people after mine when I offered it on the forum and the guy who didn't get it may still be looking out for another example himself.



I have other Commers but they are all larger than this type and I tend to stick to Sunbeams, Humbers and the larger Commers and Karriers so don't get involved with the PA/PB/Spacevan very often.
