And there was me eyeing up coachbuilders to have one made up !Two !!The one on Smurf looks good- plenty of area for semi-flexible solar panels ,something that I can't really attach to the Highwayman roof.What does yours look like, Martin ?
Will post some pics when I'm somewhere that my dongle works a bit quicker-it's soo slow here in Oxford!Waiting and waiting...You kind of lose the will to live after a while.It's definitely a Wanderer though, with the folding roof and three perspex windows.
Thanks for the suggestions, but having thought about this a bit more I've got a plan.I'm going to commission a bespoke roof.I like the word bespoke.I've never had anything "bespoke" before but for Sunshine nothing is good enough.There's a company in Sussex called Fibreglassuk.com that make these things in any number but I guess the more get made the cheaper they become.Custom roof anyone ??!!!
If you're looking for various hi-tops designs as inspiration for your own bespoke, here's our Hunny ;
with her unusual design , the front stepped bit is actually a recessed luggage store (could be useful for a solar panel)and at the rear are 2 perspex corner 'windows'
(we do have a spare roof available, if you're interested)
