Anybody want a Hi-top roof for their Commer or Dodge Spacevan?
Just bought a spares donor Dodge Spacevan on Ebay but I don't need the roof, and it won't fit in my garage until the roof is removed.
£50 if you remove it yourself.

hi Andy, you stripping it down? I'm after front door quarterlights if available, don't need the rubbers and could collect. Ta

This is going to appear a bit anal, but I need one square plastic surround for the locking button on the front doors. Could you reserve one for me please? Been looking for a while.

The high top roof secures to the roof by sitting in the gutter and an alloy strip with self tappers which go through the fibreglass into the metal above the gutter.
The screws are all seized into the alloy with corrosion so would need drilling out or the roof cutting just above the alloy.

Hi Jimber. I did away with mine as the 1/4 light frames were totally shot... I've made dummy 1/4's with lexan & drilled the catches back in to look like the real thing... Couldn't find any 1/4's anywhere!... But would like the real thing if possible...
 
Lexan, Perspex same thing lol... got mine fitted in New rubbers... Looks ok but you know in your head you want the real deal, it's one of those things that bugs you if it's not right.... I'll catch up with you one day @ one of the meets & we'll compare 1/4's....

Hoping to be back at a meet one day but the vans off the road for a bit until I can get enough 3 point seat belts fitted. Just done 4 months round Europe in a large plastic motorhome, hoping to sell it asap as have a smaller plastic motorhome lined up that won't annoy the neighbours as much, but still it's not a Commer - the dream is to use that again for the family holidays to Europe
 
Sorry but the hubcaps, quarter-lights and door locks have now gone.
The high top roof has been removed so that the rest of the van will go into my garage. Does nobody want the high top roof?
 
I didn't get any pics.....close up & inside etc & the van should be up & running later next week.....ooh I am not sure. Everyone says don't cos it will spoil looks, I like standing up though......
 
Go for it Chris, no use having a van that doesn't meet your needs. It can always be removed again if you change your mind:)
