who's who?i would like to hear from any one with a commer pb 2500,i am still waiting for the chq to clear before i can collect herby the way mines a camper.....ive seen a couple that have been put on,nice one guy's.what are the different conversions? vw have holdsworth, ci,westfalia etc...commer is new to me :Igo on put some info my way.i am bored with waiting.there isn't much info on the net!woolfy if you are reading this,keep making the panels, won't be long before commers are as popular as vw's, if you haven't got a commer buy one while you still can [8D]
dont worry chris im not going anywhere yet and il keep making the panels as long as people will by some or need them. as for buying a commer ive already got one myself which im doing up slowly ,shes as rotten as a pair ,hense the reason for starting to make the panels.im doing a mild custom on mine though ,im thinking of putting a v8 rover lump in mine ,ive just bought the rear wheels for it today nice centerline hot rod wheels,they look great ,i will put a picture of them on here over the weekend to show you all where im heading,i was only bidding on the same camper as you because like you said she was cheap.and i just want you to know that im not cheesed of because you beat me in the bidding. no really im not,im not,[!] only joking see you soon.

Hi Chris, I've dug out some info that may be of interest to you. The book these images came from was published in 1968 (check out the prices)and is called Continental Autocamping by Derek Townsend, gives a good comparison with other makes of the time. Another good source is All about Motor Caravanning by Bill Brooks from 1975, it's amazing what you find at car boot sales and old book shops. The PB 2500 is basically the heavy duty version of the range with beefed up suspension, take a look at Martins piece on the history of the PB.

hi again,been coming back and forward,in and out checking latest postings,some really good topics,is it just me or do other people find old postings they have n't read before!well my chq will clear around thursday so i should be getting her home soon.I don't know if I will be able to put pic's on but i will try,when i have finnished drooling. let the fun begin ps are there any recommended websites? i have been searching can't find much at all,I am putting together a home page,if any members want to send me pic's and some details of any commer pb's i will see what i can [email protected] i will post the link once i have started so people can have a look.any objections????
