hi. although a joined a few year ago the commer highwaymen i bought has kind of been put to 1 side untouched as just havent had time to get her done but im seriously thinking of having a go this year.
shes kind of been neglected while stored in a yard and now requires a passenger side rear window aswell as other parts and possibly a complete strip and rebuild of the rear timber frame which i am deffinately not looking forward to doing so any advise really much appreciated or if anyone knows of parts for sale.
i have an old pic of her i found on google by chance.

Martin will be your best route for parts, there are a few threads already on the forum regarding coachbuilt vans. A pic would be great, I'm sure Panky will be along soon with help and some advice. Good luck.
 
Chap near here in Bolsover said he'd do them at a good price, he makes them for Bongos mainly but if I took my van he'd make one and then have a template for future use.
 
cool thanks. I'm probably not going to be doing anything on the Commer till 2018 now as away all this Summer in Europe. I'll remember that though. If anyone did want to take it on I can pass the address of the business in question.
