Working for General Motors (as I do) I feel this forum as bit of an escape from the harsh realities of life. Until you Panky started going on about Vauxhall engines, that is! [xx(]

Nah, give me an old humming (and smoking) Rootes engine. Much more cosy. About 80 times slower, I know, but who cares [^]

Pologies :I. This is tame compared to some of the ideas that have come up [:0]

i told yoy what to do ,if you want a bit more get up and go but still have the old school mechanics, then stick a triumph 2500s engine and gearbox in it, you have two extra cylinders for more umphh and twin carbs, and the added luxury of the overdrive gear box thrown in. it cant be that hard to squeeze one in, maybe just move the radiator forward alittle.:p;) thats the route i will be taking.

No worries, Panky. I was only joking :D

But having Opels (Vauxhall in your world) and Saabs for breakfast, lunch and often dinner, no wonder I need a change and drive a Fiat as my regular transport [^]

or do it properly and fit one of these :p:D[8D]

I was about to ask the same question, Studio.

Never mind the usual blindspot. Here there are nothing but blindspots!

My Commer also has that rad fan and expansion tank (guess who supplies them ;) ), or will when it eventually comes back from the recorers [:(!]

Shame it hasn't got the rest of that black Auburn's supercharged mill [:0]

Cheers
