HELP required on HORN

Does that give you full beam? Will volt meter tell you which of the wires is +ve and -ve? Then if volt test the other wire with one meter on wire and other on battery terminal?? If you know what i mean. I assume all 3 wires are connected to lamp and continuited tested?
 
I would be tempted to ditch the relay as it's an addition and try just using the blue as supply and the blue/stripes as main+dip.
 
In response to your comment about not knowing where the dipswitch is, it is a foot switch mounted on the floor to the left of the pedals.
 
Thanks for clarifying that - I've never heard it called that.
Here, those of us of a of a certain vintage know it's for 'the high beams'.
:D
 
No pedal on floor for lights in this van....1974/5. Last owner modified for stalk on steering....
