Ran had fuel vacume issue. I would put fuel in & get staining on body work around filler cap!

Cheers Chris, I think the issue is more to do with the carburettor which is being looked at later. I must be honest I don't like the idea of a leaking carburettor. When you say staining did you mean painting?

Not yet Panky, I'm waiting for my mate to help me. He's in France for a couple of weeks. I camped in a tent over the weekend and got wet.

Got around to removing my fuel tank on the weekend., and had alook at the fuel tank vent pipe. 2 bloody great kinks in it where it passes through the chassis rail & up through the floor towards the filler . You can see in the picture they're pretty bad. Hope yours looks better with smooth curves.

Probably some one cut it back because of a split end - a bit too much

OK first this pin needs to be removed, there should be a little circlip holding it in.



is that the screw on the carburettor that you adjust?
