Help, advice, query....

I'm trying to find out if my grandads van is more than just worthy of the scrap heap. It has such character and history I hope it does but am struggling to find information on it or anyone who knows anything about it- any advice gratefully received. It is around 45-48 years old. Looks more like an ambulance and has front sliding doors on driver and passenger side. Can email photos if anyone is interested in finding out more or can offer some advice? It's not in a good way at all, body work is very sorry for itself. Thank you

Yeah deffinateley, as I don't want to be seen acting flipinatley, I saw a walk though for sale on car and classic a couple of months ago I think it was about £1500.00 but it was a camper. It looked a bit rough like this one.
 
So my grandad bought it over 40 something years ago for family holidays, much of the holidays it was cruising the streets of Paris with its side doors open, grandad in charge with my nan telling the kids to get back in their seats- they still use the coiner in it now if they have a power cut. They mostly got stuck on the one way systems apparently. It slept 5 comfortably and more of eoe willing to share....It's been to France and Spain in its heyday and since grandad became less able to manage it became a possession he couldn't get rid of. Hasn't been moved for many years. If had a charged battery and a bit of a tinker grandad thinks it wod turn over but he is pretty sure the brakes are seized even though he left them off...he can't see to check anymore so it's all guess work for me! It lives in Devon and sits next to an A reg mini...they both deserve more than a scrap yard but we haven't the space or time for them!

Or did you mean mechanical history!? As that's a grandad question I can comment on after I see him this weekend!
 
No no - actual history is what we love, mechanical stuff just happens but real memories are priceless[^]
As for posting pics - have you got a photobucket account?
