Evening all,
I came across this site whilst browsing Commers on EBay and I must say from reading through some of the topics you seem a friendly bunch. I have already jumped in and rambled on in one of the current topics but thought a brief introduction to my van and I would be appropriate. I am on my second PB camper the current one (Harvey the RV) is a '71 Autosleeper resplendent in maroon paintwork, and rust. The picture is rather flattering as it was taken about 10 years ago after a weekends T cutting and polish, today it looks somewhat sadder waiting its turn for my attention after I've finished my Mini resto. I will post further pics if this Photo Bucket thing works OK.

Cheers
Panky

Hello again,
I did most of the mechanical work ages ago - engine re-build, replaced g'box, clutch and had many hours of fun with the old mig welder. I took the van off the road about six years ago for a quick rubdown and paint (I fancied BMC smoke grey) but a change of job meant little time to spend in the garage. Most of the body is sound and the ribbed side panels and rear quarters had been replaced before I bought it, there are a couple of tricky repairs to do on the peak and rear roof where it meets the gutter. I bagged a couple of new old stock door cill repair panels off EBay so plenty to keep me busy. You don't have any peak repair panels I suppose, if there even is such a thing.
