Height of an Autosleeper

Hi,
Does anyone know the maximum height of an autosleeper? I'm wanting to see if one will fit in my garage with its up'n'over door.

Thanks for the info, folks. Hmmm, sounds like it may be just possible with tyres let down a touch, the garage door height is about 6'8, but it will be tight!

Won't know till I actually get one!

I was asking the same question the other day to see if my Commer (when I get it) will fit in my single garage.
I have an up and over door and not quite enough height, so I was going to buy a cover for the van to go outside, but I do not like this solution. So, after talking to my carpenter mate and asking him for a price for 2 side hinged doors to replace the up and over, he suggested trying someone like Howdens joinery as they knock them out 'cheap as chips'.

I know one guy on here converted his up and over by hinging it at the top and supporting the corners on poles when it was open, he must have been pretty strong to lift the door and position the poles by himself[:0] One advantage was that he had a huge canopy to work under when the door was open:)

Just been out and measured, I only have 6'5" if I change the doors anyway :( I don't think I have enough even with the poptop completely removed and the tyres down.

Looks like it is going to be carport / lean to attached to the side of the garage. The garage sits up higher than the gravel parking space at the side and I already have some corrugated clear sheets for the roof. Not ideal, but at least the water will keep off it :(
 
I wouldn't think you have any chance in a modern day garage. We looked at some for storage and they were a good foot short. I'm cetain with the roof down it is as panky says around 7ft tall.
