Heated Rear Windscreens

Sleeping in the van this time of year produces rather a lot of condensation. Normally rainex anti fog does the job but not at the moment.

I notice that you can buy heated rear door glass for morris travellers for £85 a pair (flat and similar size). Now given commers all have the same size rear door glass (martin?) it might be worth getting a batch made up if there is enough interest?

anyone one else interested or am I the only one daft enough to drive a commer in the winter?

you could try some stick on heated rear screen things. My minor had one when I first got it.

But, but, but..... It's nice being able to lie in the bed and look out of the van windows, with your tea in one hand and toast in the other. All without having to get out of bed. We love our Commer.

No you're not the only one daft enough - missing mine hugely and spent 2 full winters based in my old one - never mind the rear windows - some mornings I'd need to defrost my toothbrush glass to get the toothbrush out:D

I'm with Chris on the chammy leather (have to careful how I word that!!!):I;)

Isn't that a base requirement for owning a commer in the first place[?]:D
