Head rebuild

Have just rebuilt the head for various reasons with new guides, exhaust valves and it needed a skim.

Putting it back together though, reading the manual it talks about two steel ring locating inserts on the outer two inlet ports. They aren't present so was wondering are they definitely needed and if so are they available anywhere? Thanks guys

I forgot to put them back in on Bonnie, she seems to run OK
They are just a couple of rolled steel rings about half an inch long, the studs will line it up well enough.
