got engine back and building it up at moment. The head gasket I've got doesn't have a top marked on it like most. I guess it should be copper side down on an alloy head?

ok thanks P. Read a few that it should be the curled over bits on the cylinder side....copper shouldn't touch alloy etc. Etc. Guess it probably doesn't matter especially if not stamped
Make sure the water hole at the back lines up, they only go 1 way.
