Head gasket.. maybe ..

Having experienced it several times before, I can't bear the stress of a maybe-blown head gasket so have sent him off to be sorted. The fella says the bores nd bottom end are in great nick, as are the valve seats.

So a few pennies spent .. hopefully all the mystery removed.
 
got the van back on Saturday, as well as my wife's lovely now-restored Moggy minor, which is fantastic :-D

As I had only driven the Commer with a flaky head gasket and in need of some tappet adjustment (I thought that's just what they were like!), driving him now is a bit of an eye opener. Starts ok now, smooth running, no juddering etc.

Yes. that's more like it !
