hate to say it - but a caravan question

Up at the house in Lincolnshire I have 1998/99? bailey ranger 460/2 caravan which i might have to live in for a bit until the house is finished (Start a new job in Sleaford on 1st July)

the manufacturer say the awning size is 892cm.

I have seen a cheap awning on sale nearby but it is 1000cm

obviously too small an awning wouldnt fit, but what happens if you get one slightly too big - are there workarounds?

sorry to discuss beastly caravans on this fine forum

No you're not thick - I'm just being a bit silly[8)]

I guess if the van is longer than the awning you could extend the rail that the awning attaches too:)

Sell the caravan and get one that fits the awning:D[}:)]:D

Or...

Sell the caravan and the awning and live in style....in The Dog[8D][8D]

Is it just a top rail or does the rail go down the sides as well?

Tigger only has a top rail and the awning over hangs quite a bit but we just pull it tight and pin it down with guide ropes.....I'll show you in Pandy:D

Am I being thick now or does 1000cm (10m) seem an awful big awning:I

Assuming it starts bottom left corner, goes up then across the length of the caravan and then down to the bottom right corner 10m is probably about right for a decent sized caravan.

I am not a person, I am a number, 395 actually......Be seeing you!
If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?
