Has Woolfy Found 'The Holy Grail'

You know the Corgi Constructor Set, every one had one - a Commer flat bed with interchangeable rear ends, van, milkfloat, ambulance and canopy pick-up. We've seen full sized vans and ambulances but the milkfloat and canopy pick-up remain but a myth........until now - no milk float yet but looky at what Woolfy has got and apparently converted from new[8D]

Looking a little unloved

No problem with drainage - it's even got the bench seat under the canopy - even the Corgi ones are rare.

yes guys its finally arrived at my yard this afternoon, what a rare old beast she is, its just a shame that the owners have left it outside in the elements for so long uncovered.butas they say on that programme the bionic man, we have the technology too rebuild it, haha. believe it or not this little beauty has only had one owner from new according to the log book and has only covered 11000 miles from new. im loving it.but will i be keeping it though, mmm im not sure yet as i have lots of other things going on, so it might be up for grabs.;):p

yh we want lots of pics woolfy, take it as a sign mate. it resembles the pic so much coz your MEANT to keep it lol. but if you do decide to sell may i suggest you either do the work first (this 1 should sell easy as pie when done) OR sell it to someone who will def give it all the best. its super rare so to sell it to someone who "might" be able to do it would be a crime lol i know you are well aware of that though :D personally i hope it gets the full woolfy treatment :D

Woolfy i cannot believe that your drawing is exactly the same. You have to keep it, it's your destiny, written in the stars etc etc :) where did you find it???
 
theres no amazing story to be told really, it was just avertised in the back of classic car weekly mag last week.:p

Wow this is really amazing. Between this and the butchers van some really special commers are commering out of the woodwork. Can't wait to see this all done. It is as I have said before 'my ideal wagon'.
I want this so bad it's a problem! Just as well it's on the other side of the world or I could see myself doing something silly!!!,
Cooler than solid nitrogen in my opinion :)

Repro floor panels defo worth thinking about though as would also save a lot of work doing patch repairs and at least for the vans where the floor is visible would look original.

I just need a good rootes...

Before we all get carried away, just remember that Woolfy has been here before with the panel van, restoring it to a high standard and then being taken for a ride by buyers. This is going to be one costly van to restore with no promise of a return at the end of it.

However, it is one hell of a van and I wish Woolfy well with it (needs the correct bumper on the front). :p

PS has anyone got the little bench that fits inside the Corgi Constructor version? I'm still missing mine.

yh your right m8, but lets not forget that although the panel van is fantastic (i would sell my left nut for it) it is nothing near as rare as this, evan if it didnt sell it would be pretty much 1 of a kind. this 1 doesnt just want saving, it needs saving! :) go for it woolfy, you know you wanna ;)
