I think now that having no overdrive is the way forward.Why not start a fashion world styled trend?
'No overdrive is the new overdrive'
I mean, who needs that extra 'Oomph'?, flicking switches and solenoids is SO yesterday!.
As commer drivers you should want to be working through the gears like madmen and women.You should enjoy the sound of that already doomed engine struggling uphill(and downhill).
So, do it now..throw out the old overdrive and throw in some fresh 75/80 into that trusty g/box and nail that PB to the highway.

I was all set to do some gardening at the weekend but we decided to go camping instead and went to our favourite chill out place, Church Bay[8D] The weather was a bit hit and miss but we had a great time, my daughter and her boyfriend came along to and there tent stood up to the driving rain well, at least the gales dried it out occasionally:I

(Vera is nicking all the strawberries in our alotment anyway - every day, so no point in gardening really.. She'll munch away on the berries, and step on the poor green salad, beetroot and whatnot the rest of the time. Difficult getting a 2 year-old to understand the logic of all this.)

Hi Chris, no not a new one we've had it for years we used it with our first van in the early 80's and dug it out again as the orange one is getting a bit fragile. Unfortunately the wind did it's best to wreck it when we were putting it up and now it has a few bent poles[xx(]

Evenin' all
Just got back from a few days ambling around Yorksire[8D] We were blessed with fine weather if a little blustery at times. We picked a site near Goole out of a guide book, it sounded great - very private garden site, only five pitches, hook-up. It forgot to mention it was 1/4 mile from the M62 across very flat fields and no tree line to dampen the noise. It was in a garden alright right next to the caravan storage areas, all that along with the owners dog taking an instant dislike to ours and attacking it at every oportunity meant we didn't stay long:I
We moved on to a place we had been before at Holme Upon Spalding Moore, a great site with loads of space and no one else except a couple of caravanners to spoil our solitude. The family travel the steam rallys with their classics and live-in vans, unfortunately some of the cars are being auctioned off including an MGB, a Hillman Superminx estate an a two door Morris 1000. There was still an lovely Arrows series Humber Sceptre and another Moggy around - neither of which I took pics of sorry[8)] but did snap these.
We bought a utility tent a couple of weeks ago with a view to adapting it to use as an awning, we didn't realise that not all of them come with a door back and front - ours didn't:I So we improvised and it worked quite well
The door flap of the tent is attached to the pivot ends on Harvey's roof with a couple of tent rings giving a covered area between the two, haven't tried it in the rain yet though:I

They even popped in for a surpise visit at Commerland [^] Karen had a double take, when they called in at the charity shop she helps at, looking for knitting needles
