The last day of the Easter break for me so we took a trip out in Harvey[8D] We went to place called Dagfields that sells all sorts of junk under the heading of antiques and collectables, I got an addition to my very small collection of Corgi Commers in the shape of a military ambulance - complete with driver (well the top half of one:I)
We stopped of for lunch in a local pub (king size Yorkshire pudding filled with chicken tikka has my recommedation) and then on the way back pulled in at Bunbury Mill to make a brew.
Harvey just chillin'

Harvey was running sweet after the carburetter tweaks I did and I hardly noticed that the overdrive still wasn't working:I but when we got back there was an ominous and large dribble of oil on the drive. After a quick check and wipe with a rag I traced it to the rocker cover - three of the four screws were loose, I'll fit some spring washers before we set off for Pandy in a couple of weeks me thinks. Not sure if I can manage such a big job:I
Same thing happened to Madge (my Singer Vogue) a couple of years ago. took her up to silverstone to watch the Imps thrashing all and sundry. Huge oil slick under the engine. Two of those screws were missing and the other two were about to drop out.
Peggy can do 78mph!
If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?
