HAPPY NEW YEAR

I've had the err, greenhouse (cheek of it [:0]:D !) nearly 20 years and bought it from and old couple who had it over 20 years themselves. They looked after it like a baby and it was very good when I got it. The wood has been replaced at some point, but it did need a NSF floor pan, NSR inner arch and rear floor panel behind the fuel tank. The bits I've done myself are the lowering job, gas strut swap, disc conversion and fitted an alternator. I've also fitted all the extras and some new chrome. There's still bits to do, and of course these projects are never really finished.

The van is about to get a full resto, and be treated to some of them there coventry panels to replace the carpet tape! Ultimately I'm going to start a classic camper hire business and make her earn her living. I'm down in West Sussex so won't compete with Yorkshire classics. I've also just bought a 1980 Mk1 CF Autosleeper (got no pics yet) which will also get 'tickled' when I've done the PB. Lets see if we can take on the VeeDub crowd with some British tin!

Is that little pic of a commer recovery a real one or a photoshop creation? It's soooo cool!

Martin.

Welcome to the padded cell step over to my corner (obviously not a corner as we are not allowed sharp things!) as we own moggies too, i currently have a fifty eight four door with full length webasto fabric sunroof and a 69 (nice number, poor view[:0]:I[}:)];)) ex met police panda. loving the white walls but sorry never like the woodies.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labottomy!

Mmmm 2 rare beasties. A nice early one with a webasto [^] Have you still got a zip in your headlining in the other one? My cousins first car was a mog which he found was an ex panda - he'd just joined the force at the time too!

Yes and it works, i also still have the holes in the roof and have painted the doors back to white and had magnetic police signs made for the doors. the 58 is a twenty year resto so far, the reason being ive had lots of cars since then, including an early 52 highlight short bonnet, a 54 (cheesegrater grille), four ex police cars all at the same time, and various others.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labottomy!

An affectionate nickname, one I used to describe my Dad's 1966 Rose Taupe example all those years ago - not suggesting you should grow tomatoes in the back;)

Woolfies signature pic was produced by the big man himself with the aid of a pack of Crayola's. He's half way to producing the real thing:p

Summer's Coming

Actually Panky I used to have a Traveller which grew fine mushrooms in the window channels :(, at the end of its days my mum did use it as a greenhouse!

Careful commeracer I hear they are very fattening, it'll go straight on your thighs!! :D:D

Yes indeed, but i manage to keep my figure by only having one a month ;)
