I put a post on a while back, about Karen's boss hiring out Commers in the 70's. He finally found one of the pics Shows what looks like a Highwayman in the foreground, then 2 pickups (high sided dodge and and unusual Commer) then an coachbuilt of unknow conversion. Can't workout what the pickup is between them, possibly Simca [?]

Also a carpark full of other '70's vehicles.

It certainly is, I zoomed in and although grainy it is definately the pentastar[8D]

funny looking coachbuilt as with the pentastar on the doors i can remember these on authorized commer/dodge dealerships that had van rentals[8D]

Personally, I find the Matra Rancho far more attractive than its little ugly sister. Same face, different attitude

Just had a very long conversation with a guy that worked at this place. The Commer pickup was the brakedown vehicle, for the Rootes/Talbot dealership they owned, hence the pentastar. It had either a crane or A frame, dependant on the job.
The Dodge pickup had detachable backs, a luton box (which is stood on legs opposite in the yard) or a camper back.
Next to the tanker, there is a strange looking yellow brakedown vehicle. That was an ex Canadian 4X4, with a Commer cab stuck on [:0]
