im thinking of a light blue roof and old english creamy white on the sides ect, or maybe the other way round,disitions.mmmm, or maybe a nice pea green van and a creamy roof. or old school brown and cream. i cant wait to pick it up now, ive got my man working on the panels in amoungst other orders so it wont be long before i have mackers bits for him.;):p

i just realised i said earlier that i would have mackers panels ready for him and it should have said middis panels,(sorry macker no free bees today im affraid.)[:0];):p
 
The Old English White and blue sounds superb[^] (blue roof), brown and cream are the colours of the 1930's MG racing team - the 'Cream Crackers' - that would look cool as well [8D]

I like Kes's suggestion, but maybe that's because I've just used that colour scheme on a model narrowboat I'm building. There's a local firm of builders round here with that colour scheme on their vans and it looks really good.

For some reason, cream with a light blue roof puts me in mind of a Bedford CA, but I don't know why.

I always think classic panel vans look good in a dark base colour like dark blue or burgend ... burgan ...... dark red! :I

Perhaps dark blue below and cream above or ....

Lets face it, I haven't got a clue really. Perhaps playing with colours on photoshop or similar will help. Whatever you choose it will look good, it's a Commer.
