Guess what I've found!!!!!!!!!!

I found one in a field near whittlesey but the owner was very against selling but im working on him. if you need a hand with the three im only in peterborough . I want a panel can and the rouse is to use it as a promo van for my business. that way the conversion can be set against tax.;););)

Got it home about a week ago, hadn't had time to get on here or on it. but snuck 10mins last night so I hooked the car up for some electric power, took the ingintion barrell a part as I have no key and shorted her accross the terminals. and crank for about 15secs and started!!! Nice one!! Then I thought better stop before she got to hot (no water) only to find the stop cable seized solid!! Doh. so it took me a few minutes to actually get to the injection pump to pull the lever manually. Better sort that soon! I'll also get some pictures of the badge positions soon.

The time has come to sell the panel van, I need a new work horse and can't justify having 2 commers and a Mini plus another for me and the astra for the mrs, so I think the van has to go!(not that they are all on the road) but running out of space on my drive.

You are welcome to make me offers before I decide weather to ebay it or not. it does run but it has no brakes so you have to be carefull moving it around.
 
ah ha i new you would be there somewhere mart.what sort of condition is the van in and do you have any photos of it please as i would be very interested indeed, i gave one up myself the other day ,but only because it was a high top and the later dodge version. i could have kept it but i thought whats the point if its not really the one you want. actually did you not post some pics before on an old thread that i could look at. what was it under.:p;)

just readig back through your postings i remember you saying about three other panel vans that you may know of for sale . did you find out about them and are they still for sale.. oh and i will start the bidding at a more sensible offer of £250.00. take that panky.:p;)
 
i know mate this is what ive been waiting for, but knowing my luck they always slip through my fingers.:(:p just think middi if you sold it to me, in a years time you could look back and say that it went to a good home as you see it going to all the classic car shows all sign writen up in old school style lettering, saying coventrycommerpanel. and in small letters lower down saviour of the rootes commer vans.:p
