Hello Iceman I wonder if you could do me a small favour Itried to register on trade me site to get more details /photos of this interesting vehicle but you can only register if you live in australia or new zealand could you please register on this site and find out more details and get some photos of the interior for me as i would be interested in purchasing this bus thanks gary +441271373146:):):)
 
Hi Posty, just asked the owner for more pix and any other info. Will let you know what comes back. For what its worth it looks complete and quite straight. I dont think it would take a whole lot to get her back on the road. I would go have a look for you but its about 700km away!

No i cant contact the seller directly but i can post questions on his listing through my account. He has put up some more photos of the interior and the rust areas. Still dosent look all that bad but would need some work. Looks like the peak is rotten. surprise surprise!

Sure am,not 100% sure i wana sell it but kind of need the cash.. Ive got it driving mint and body is pretty damn good now
 
Hello Iceman Isee that the commer bus did not sell Iam still interested in it .is it possible for you to contact them and ask what price they are prepared to accept for it and can you tell whereabout in New Zealand it is so I can look at the logistics of getting it back to the UK cheers Gary
 
Hi Gary
I had a look and it seems the listing was withdrawn after being relisted. I guess it was either sold outside of Trade Me or will be broken down for parts as there were some questions from people looking for bits. I hope not as its a nice and rare van. Unfotunately there is no way for me to contact the seller as the listing is now closed. Its in a place called Gore which is on the West coast of the South Island about a third of the way down. It is a pretty isolated area and i think the logistics would be quite involved in getting it to a port for shipping. I dont think there is much i can do. I am at the other end of the North Island. I will keep the rust radar tuned in and let you know if anything else comes up. They do show up from time to time as do the panal vans (Shhhhhhh)!
