Great news, keeping my van.

Hi all, I had my commer pb up for sale and have had a lot of interest but after coming back from the garage for a bit of welding we have decided to keep it. Our mechanic gave it a good check over and he has reported back to me that there is no reason why the van can't easily get through the M.O.T's for a good few years to come. He sorted out the fuel problem I was having and also the fumes in the cab problem which was due to some breather pipe problems. All I need now are a couple of doors if anyone has any for sale in good condition.
Now the work on the interior begins!

what ya doing to the interior? resto, modifying, or modernising? ours was all unoriginal rubbish really and is now in landfill somewhere!

The carpet that is currently down needs replacing as there is paint all over it. The units over the sink and cooker are pretty much gone and I will replace those. I have also already changed one side of the piano hinges that are attached to the pop up roof and I need to do the other side. I also need to chane all of the curtains and some other bits and pieces.

Really is great news that you are keeping the commer, best of luck with interior, sounds like you have a blank canvas to play with - full pimp my ride treatment possible, just don't put the widescreen pop up plasma screen playstation3 console too near the hot tub, could make for extra bubbles if you are in there when it shorts out[:0]
