Great pic's [8D] Haven't been to this event since the mid '70s.Must try and go again as i really enjoyed it then.

Just a thought....every thing that was new then is now a classic!!! that really does make me feel old:(:(

back to my "rootes"
 
The guy that is selling the Wayfarer went to Dorset, he was insistant that there were 30 Commers there [:0]

If you counted the commer and Karrier trucks there may have been 30 at a stretch, but these were the only three vans there, believe me I have the aching leg muscles from walking all day commer searching

Ps the Pa is my Sunny, she had to sit in the outside campsite, had. A lot of visitors though, all wanting a chat

Did you buy the PA from Stuart Townley or do you know if he was a previous owner? He used to own a superb PA Autosleeper years ago but sold it in the mid 1990`s......for £200!

I bought this from a guy in Christchurch for £250.
Previously it belonged to a guy called Steve loveys who I think may have been a member on here long ago.
The credit for how she looks now has to go to Woolfy, and needless to say it won't be going anywhere for £250 again

Lovely to see'GG' alive and well:) Enjoyed many a cuppa and chat in that van when Steve Loveys owned it back in the 90s-Enjoy:p

I started with nothing.....and I still have most of it!
 
Ah it was Steve Loveys van!
I bought a very very nice blue/white Maidstone off him a few years back.
So where is Stuart Townleys van......Martin?

I don't know what happened to Stuart's Auto-Sleeper, but I relieved him of all his Commer spares:D

I started with nothing.....and I still have most of it!

The Tourstar belongs to Bob Dover, from up't north. I don't know the other one.

the other belongs to Reg Woodruff and won its class & best interior & best in show at the Classic Cammper Club National last year, This is its 3rd year showing at Dorset,
