Greasing.

I've taken the nipple off this morning, it's taking grease, I put it back on and then took it off again to see if there's any grease in the joint opening. When I took it off there's no new grease in the opening. Could it be a good idea to put a new nipple on it, if not its heat in Monday.:(

No harm in trying a new nipple first.

It was an early start this morning, taking my dogs for a walk now so I can take my mind away from GREASE.

I've almost completed my greasing, there are two nipples I've found that are at the back of the lower suspension. There behind what looks like a square skid pan. Will grease cone back out of these joint also? Because grease appears to be going in but not coming back out of the joint. I'm applying some heat to the nipple that I'm having trouble with tomorrow.

The one behind the flat square of metal is the main relay lever, if it's going in that's fine - you usually find a great big dollop of old grease clagged all over the lever housing.

I wondered what all that grease was, the other nipple is a angled one that's on a suspension joint. Grease doesn't appear to be going into that one either. One day at a time, I'll be soon be enjoying my commer again on great summer evenings.

I found the grease over the lever housing, there was a lot. I heated up the other nipple and I think the grease was going in, I checked inside and their was new grease where the nipple screws in.

I've re greased my nipples in readiness for my vans Mot. All the nipples took grease, one of the surrounds behind a nipple appears to be slightly loose.

Morning all, i last greased my nipples in August in perpetration for a long journey. As I haven't used my van much since will i still have to grease them all now or will the grease be ok until the mot in July?

I've already done it Panky;), all got new grease in. Took me about an hour and a half, got grease in my dreads again.
