Grease your nipples :)

Hi all,[8D]When greasing all the steering/suspension nipples dont miss the upper inner wishbone fulcrum linkage. These are right up under the wheel arch next to engine bay. There is one at either end. These often get missed at servicing and as we have recently learned the bushes can seize and possibly cause the pins to break.[V]

Anyway best to put plenty of grease in your nipples.:I

Hooray for Martin for his speedy dispatch of new pins to get us back on the road again. Thanks Mate..:D

Summer's Coming

Paul did tell me he had tried to grease the top ones, but couldn't get any in [xx(] That is a sure sign they are blocked and need attention. There was a lot of creaking and groaning from that side, then it stopped. It had obviously seized up and wasn't long before metal fatigue snapped both ends off [B)]

Got any diagrams of recomended grease points etc, can you tell me how many there are so i dont miss any. Thanks.

There are 19 on the steering and suspension alone [:0] There is a great lubrication chart comes with the little blue Commer handbook, it's in A3 so I can't scan it.

Well I can see it but I have to slide it across, can someone let me know that it is showing OK

Got the PDF on the website folks! But not the same

Correct me if i am wrong but the upper fulcrum pin is not highlited as a grease point on Admins pdf, but is on Lulu's chart item no27.
Maybe keep this in mind if using the Chrysler chart and pencil it on.;)

If anyone wants a copy of the chart,in 2 halves of course just send me a stamped self addressed envelope and I'll
send you a copy of the one that I have or if you let me have an email
address I can send 2 seperate messages each with half a page on it,so that it's a lot bigger.
I'm not sure that makes sense but at least I know what I mean.
