Another Ebay nightmare for the seller.
I really wish people would check there finances and get permission from whoever before bidding. It just wastes the sellers time and money because you never get the listing fees back and it can cost up to £20.00 to list a car.
Could well be that, but then should they bid? If the item is not as described then that is another matter and I have suffered from that on more than one occasion!
Ebay is just a bit of a nightmare now

its a bit like a lucky dip on ebay having said that i have had some nice results buying from it
I have too, but I have had some bad bad experiences buying and selling on there.
It is good for finding elusive parts though, its now easier to get parts for old vehicles than it was ten years ago.

You get the fees back if you go through eBay for a non-paying bidder don't you?
Spare a Commer Guv?
If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?
Not the listing fee only the final value feequote: Originally posted by bazzateer

Hopefully they listed it on a free weekend thing. I've just had to go down the route of a "non-payer" ...they eventually paid after they read the fact that it would probably mess up their good rating!!
Just down the road from me....tempted! Might find out what the insurance is like (with no-no claims as that's used on my car)
Quite a few Commer owners no too far away from me either (Bristol) who I think are pretty clever with the mechanics/body stuff!
'just down the road' eh[?] then you must view it.
I'd be very cautious with a re-listing and the seller blaming the buyer though.
Who knows the real reasons for a sale falling through.
The bidding history certainly looks suspicious on this one, or on the original listing I'd say :I
Saying that I've just recently legitimately sold something expensive on eBay to someone with only 3 feedback......and they are still yet to pay [!] or be in contact [V]
.....yep.... it was just down the road! I was chatting to a chum about going halves on Monday and I think it was taken off of the bay within 12 hours of that. Quite right though with the re-listing (re Greg) .... it's not always down to the buyer!
