Ah Big Chill is great, but I am not going this year, shame as they are going to be filming the worlds largest zombie scene! Eva abraham is lovely, saw her there a few years ago, and Kraftwerk, well, enough said

Got back from Glastonbury, took ages but no real events other than ralph was on fire with his new engine, not actally but touched 68mph on the straight, generally a comfortable 56mph, did around 400 miles on £110 using super unleaded. Glasto was great looked by couldn't find other commers. There were the odd thousand darkside owners and their air cooled vehicles. As usual got loads of attention admiration for being individual. I love commers

Sorry Paul that we didn't manage to catch up with you and Lancelot this year.

We did stumble across Sunbeam Sam and introduced our ourselves - a very nice couple with another really lovely Commer [8D] Not far away from them in E11 was Bumble but I never managed to catch anybody at home - so I hope you had a cracking Glasters too ;) and you all made it back home safely.

We camped with our VW owning friends, who saved our lives by lending us their spare bed cushions - after our first night's distinct lack of sleep due to a punctured airbed. I'd forgotten how hard sleeping on the earth can be [:0]

For us this was an absolute classic Glasters, been going since '93 and I just don't remember ever being so hot continously even throughout the night. We even had the (warm) rain at the start and very end to remind us just what mud looks like. Also possibly the strongest line-up I can recall, with plenty of blinding performances too.

A real shame we had to tent it, we would have got much more sleep in the Commer as it got far too hot by 9am. Upside was we got up and out earlier and saw much more. The other positive is we averaged 49mpg in our Alfa 147 JTDm, so money saved on fuel can go to getting us back on the road.

pleased you had a great glasto, i was in E16 but didnt find anyone else and we had real problems using the internet or telephones, guess it was the amount of people there. Glastonbury was excellent this year it was our second time and we thoroughly enjoyed it, ralph was excellent on the journey and i was amazed that he didnt overheat in temperatures of 34 degrees. we will hopefully catch up with you again at the next meet...
