Inspiration!!!:D that's come form you, as far back as I read, you didn't know the differance between a gear stick and a dip stick when you started on here and look at all the fantastic work you have done on Smurf [8D]

Aww thanks Heidi:I i just lack knowledge and the correct terminology and confidence, but with the fantastic support on here it's just inspiring.....sometimes i will put my old clothes on, go in the garage and smoke ten cigs walking round in circles before i finally pick up a spanner and start...once i get going I'm ok..it's always facinating to see new stuff and even better when peep take you through it step by step with pics which is what I try and do for others too[8D]

i will have to tackle bodywork and paint at sometime, probably next year Smurf will end up like a patchwork quilt for a while, its that or let the rust get a grip:( i will definately be looking back at Bernies work for tips when the time comes:D:D

just can't wait to see Gladys blinged up[8D]

Actually I agree with you about the bumpers, but we want to keep her as we got her so I, think Bernie will be putting them back on. And besides our loft is full of other car bits

I have been looking for Orange material to make curtains from, the only fabric suitable I have so far found, is a table cloth in a charity shop. So I have made this into the curtain for the front and used what was there to replace the more than thread bare ones in the back windows.

If you give up on the orange curtains idea, I might be selling some yellow/white Gingham curtains I bought off someone on here a while back. I couldn't work out what was supposed to fit what, so will probably not end up using them.

Further to the Curtain thread. We used Thermal blackout lining in between ours. Let's virtually zero light through and keeps some of that draught at bay too;) it means that our van is still dark at 7am, hence we were the last to make it out of the van in Coventry HAHAHA!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!

Just typed orange fabric into ebay and quite a range appeared. I couldn't find any that match exactly the Wanderer curtains, assuming yours are the same as the 1967 model and that my memory is reasonably intact, but you may find something suitable. Good luck.

agree with scott; this is what Liza did to Yori's original curtains, cool and dark!

Didn't want curtains on the V8 so bought the silver screen kit from Just Kampers - worked well when we used them last year
