Getting ready for the weekend....

Thank you Chris and Tim... I'm feeling very lucky right now (and a fair amount of responsibility too...)

Looking forward to sharing the tale after a long weekend and a slow drive south...

I did the opposite trip recently in Rupert (1961 Maidstone) from London to Yorkshire. He kept up with the traffic on the A1 with no problem. However, the traffic he kept up with was the lorries!

I do like the roof mounted indicators on yours - it gives it the look of a dalek. Have you named it yet? Davros?

Just read Martin's post about removing lights and brackets. Has he removed the dalek indicators?

Chris... Yes, the indicators coming off we're part of the 32 holes that Martin welded. Gone right back to it's original... I await to find out how I do indicate on Monday when I pick him up...

I think the name will be like a new baby - not guaranteed until the last minute... But my mother is currently pleased with my idea of calling him Arthur...

They arrived back safely, Edward will be along soon to give more updates :)
