G,day from WA

Hi All,

Haven't been on for a while, We bought a new(very old:rolleyes:) home just after XMAS and it needs a lot of TLC so all my spare time has been on the house and the Commer has been left neglected for the last 6 months.
I just finished building a new garage/workshop for it so hopefully i will get time soon to start tinkering again already have a list of jobs that need to be done:D.

Anyway hope you are all planning or enjoying your summer Commer holidays and keeping safe.

My profile on the new forum shows my age as 2, got to be happy with that :)

Paul.

Great to hear from you. My house is older than my van, fortunately all the hard work had been done prior to my purchase 10 years ago.
Don't know about you over there, but been bloody cold here lately, hoping for a mild weekend so I can get back on to the van.
What happened with Romeo, is he still all alone in that paddock?
Cheers Stephen (Sydney, NSW)

Hi Panky, no such luck at the moment,

Stephen, Romeo still lives/exists "sort of" and i have passed him on to someone keen to have a go at turning whats left of him into something.

Nice to have you back Paul, great to have someone younger than me:). Good luck with all of your projects, should have some time through your winter.

Thanks Andrew, hope you are enjoying your summer:cool:,
The weather here has been pretty good, it never really gets that bad in this part of the world. Took the Commer into town yesterday to collect a load of new doors for the house. First trip in 6 months and started out running great, but soon i noticed a puddle of oil on the cab floor coming from an oil pressure gauge leak. Then the dreaded snake skin struck again and although it didn't stop us we had a slow (slower than usual:() spluttering trip home.

Great fun though and looking forward to getting the hands oily this weekend.
