HI, DOES ANYONE HAVE A GOOD WORKING SPARE FUEL TANK SENDER UNIT FOR SALE?.ITS FOR MY FATHERS DODGE, CHEERS FRASER

HI, I PHONED SPEEDY SPARES YESTERDAY, AND THEY AINT GOT NONE!, THEY DO HOWEVER HAVE THE GASKET, I ASKED WHETHER THEY COULD OBTAIN ANY IN THE FUTURE BUT THEY DONT THINK SO. I DID MENTION THAT THERE WERE A FEW INTERESTED PARTIES ON THE FORUM NEEDING THE SAME BUT TO NO AVAIL. ANYONE GOT ONE BOO HOO!!!!

could have a look at Vehicle Wiring Products Ltd who do lots of odd car parts (mainly for kit cars, i guess) - there are some fuel senders in their catalogue.

ok a bit of engineering needed but i have a plan you see, the fuel tank is exactly the same on my morrises apart from the mountings (they would need large washers welded to the edge) so the experts have now remade new deeper 11 gallon tanks and the senders will then be on the top out of road spray and available off the shelf. DO NOT TRY AND WELD OLD USED TANKS PLEASE. any more info call me 07867 858170
