Fuel tank screw connector / Fuel Lines

Hi All,

I'm soon to put my (non-standard) fuel tank back in the Dodge. I suspect the fitting on the tank may well be the original that has been welded to this tank as it joins to the original nylon fuel line.

Ideally I'd like at least initially to find a way to connect this fitting on the tank straight to a "normal" rubber fuel line to test fit the electric fuel pump and for initial engine running.

Does anyone know a suitable adaptor/connector or even what this sort of thread/connector is called so I can google it easier! It's around 10.9mm outside diameter on the fuel tank.

Also whilst here - What's the view on using rubber fuel line vs. the nylon tube? Seen a few comments that the nylon may be better over long distances.

I fitted the electric pump on a simple bracket connected to one of the tank bolts. I ran a length of hose from the outlet to the pump (mines a Tim tank but it's a similar sized outlet although not threaded) then from the outlet of the pump to the nylon tube after cutting the fitting off. It's held on with a couple of fuel hose clips and is very secure.
No need to do the complete rum on rubber as the nylon is just fine.
The threaded outlet on yours is probably an NPT or some other imperial thread.

OK - So that gives me the view I may be able to:
Leave a small amount of the nylon on the fitting, attach it to the tank
Run rubber from this to the pump with a fuel clip on it.
Then do the pump to main nylon the same way.
