Fuel tank Hose Blue Silicone re think

Cant remember who but someone sent me a link for a Blue Silicone hose the elbow comes from tank, the link was on Ebay it seems others have used them, I went and got 2 as the read up said fuel hose, 1 has been on for a year just putting the other on another Commer found I needed the filler hose down to the metal, I went back to Ebay same firm found one that looked ok I ask if it was ok as the write up was different, they said it was ok but NOT if fuel was to stay in contact as it will seep ! But the elbow does in contact ?, I went back and re read the advert for the elbow it says fuel hose but the other add for the different shape says fuel/oil mist ! before I get on to them I thought I would ask to see how many of you have used them
 
The best advice I can find is only to use hose with the makers name, the relevant standard, the date of manufacture, and "fuel hose" or "petrol hose" printed all along its length. If a manufacturer prints his name on it, you should be able to trust it. Gates is a manufacturer I would trust.

No your not being pedantic at all your right, but the advert said "Fuel" and who ever sent the link to me is using the same and maybe more people have put them on, I just wanted to make people aware they could have a fuel hose for their Commer that isn't meant to be used for fuel
