Anyone else had a shot Cork fuel cap seal... And might it justify fuel loss?

With a knackered seal you may get a bit seeping out when full but not a lot, the cap is vented anyway. If you're loosing it through the filler it is most likely a blocked or kinked tank breather hose. It runs from the top of the right hand side of the tank, up through the floor in the back corner near the filler, and joins into the filler neck. If it obstructed the pressure in the tank will rise and push fuel up the filler pipe and out through the cap.
