Having been in the fire brigade I also can think of less painful ways.
Anyway I have told the builder to get started on the garage and fortunately a job he was supposed to start has asked him to leave it for a while so he is starting this Monday.[8D] Anyone local who needs to get under their vehicle will be welcome to use it so long as they fetch the cakes.
