front springs

Try the shock upgrade first if Tiggers not had it already. Mean to make a real difference, sticky thread on mechanical hints and tips. If not then you can get springs made up - some places in Sheffield will make them to order, guess around £100 ish for a pair.

Hasta la supervista baby

Tigger has had the Hi-Lux shocks upgrade[8D]You can get heavy duty ones if you want to go even further. Soft springs are the norm so I wouldn't be too concerned but you will need to get heavier springs specially made as I doubt there is a direct replacement:I

Before you do have a word with Tim (commeracer)He modded Kermits front end with uprated shocks and a heavier ant-roll bar, the springs were left as standard and I can say from experience that van rides beautifully - very flat on the bends and a much firmer ride than normal, and that's with a supercharged V8 pushing it along:)

The biggest problem with Tigger is the bounce cos the springs are so soft the sump hits the floor on a double bump if not taken at granny pace and the lean in bends is extreme lol

All part of the charm of owning a Commer;)
