Thought I'd share with you a couple of front garden finds of mine. You don't see many PBs in people's front gardens. I've seen quite a few Spacevans, but have never bothered to photo them.

Sorry for the poor quality, this was taken on an old digi cam back in 2002. Found this one in Croydon, I forget where. Ex-BT?? Was a little bit knarly around the edges, but sound. If I didn't have too many cars at the time I'd have knocked on the door to see if it was for sale.... wonder if it's still there?

Found this one in Sutton and looks in good nick. It's still there and not sure if it has moved, but ran a DVLA enquiry and it looks as though it's currently taxed so I guess it does in that case. Maybe it belongs to someone on here?

The Sutton and Wallington areas are full of rich pickings; I found this down someones drive and thought I'd share -

Anyone know what conversion this is? Not one of the prettiest for sure! I ran a DVLA enquiry and it drew a blank. It can't be a '79 with the small tail lights....? Don't think it's going anywhere as the rear axle looks removed.
 
You're right about the rear lights, can't be a V reg [?] Definitely a minibus and could be a Dormobile conversion with that roof :)

Where is Sutton and Wallington?
 
Sutton and Wallington are in the South London/Surrey area and seem to be full of gardens with cars from the 60s and 70s parked in them. Whereas where I live, most gardens have Volvos parked in them [V]
 
I think I saw the ex bt dodge around the same time as you; don't remember exactly where now! (minky used to live in Croydon/Sutton/Wallington)
 
that last one may have been in service on a base somewhere looks like a mini bus or psv...would it be possible that the no plate reflects being registered for road use later? bit strange? love it :p

does anyone know if this yellow bt van is still on this driveway and if so where abouts exactly is it, e.g which street ect.mmmmm very nice.:p
 
I'll see what I can do, as it's in Croydon it will be on Streetview. The pic must be at least 7-8 years old, so my memory (and probably the van) has detrioated a bit!)
