Front door locks, how to fit..... Heeeelllp

Having real problems fitting front door locks, they just seem really shonky, anyone got some good advice for me, also not entirely sure if I'm missing parts or parts are worn.
If someone could tell me how they fit together that would be great, can't find anything on the net.

Hi. Sorry can’t help but i’m sure someone can. My be worth mentioning age and model just in case they differ etc??
