Re: Interchangable parts-Commer?

I'm afraid I find that Commer forum a bit clicky, seems to be the
same dozen people using it all the time! Trouble is I have a Commer
PA, with the handbrake on rear wheels, cylinders for these are very
hard to find, and when they do come up for sale the seller usually
has a great sense of humour when it comes to pricing! Wheel
cylinders for the Commer PB are quite easy to find.--- In

apparently the MGB Roadster people are like that, one of our imp club members friends joins us at shows coz he doesn't like their attitude[V] and of couse we welcome anybody:D:D;)at the end of the day we just like classic motors:p

back to my "rootes"
 
I thought being 'cliquey' meant sort of huddling together and excluding all others, that is definitely not us. There is a sort of 'hard core' that are regular contributors but then there are dozens, maybe hundreds, that drop in occasionally or lurk in the background picking up information and tips. That's fine and I welcome anyone to join in, face to virtual face or just peering in from the sidelines - if we can help in any way then I'm a happy man. But I'd love more folk to say hello, don't be intimidated or shy just say hi but be prepared to reveal everything - with pics[}:)];)
Remember - we're Commervanfan - not necessarily Commervanowner:)

Good on Cemlyn though for spreading the word and trying to help in true CVF tradition[^]

I couldn't agree more.
As a newbie I'd like to say I've had a great welcome (thank-you) and found no hint of a clique :). There seems to be a lot of friendly banter and things of interest to any classic owner. There is a wealth of technical knowledge here too, (which I may be drawing on soon :I;)) and I've discovered suppliers of parts and panels which I am going to need very shortly and may not have come across otherwise. I find other peoples restoration stories interesting and inspirational as well as technically informative. The general silliness is pretty good too :)

If this chap finds the forum literally 'clicky' he should grease his keyboard :D
 
This definitly can't be what they were referring about, as from day 1 of being a member everyone gets a great welcome here and are always encouraged to join in and participate whether online, at meets, shows etc.[8D]:);) Great bunch of friends for sure !! [8D][8D][8D]
