Found it at last!

After much searching I have found the 'other' Practical Classics article called 'Carry on Campering'. [^]

It is in the October 1999 edition and is a seven page spread featuring two Calthorpe Home Cruisers (one Bedford CA, one Ford Thames), a BMC Cotswold, a Commer Jennings Roadranger and a Transit Jennings Roadranger II.

Unfortunately I don't have a scanner that works, so I can't show the item, but I will see if I can scan it one lunchtime at work.

The Thames Calthorpe is from 1961 and described as the sole surviving Calthorpe Thames. Looks like we also have the sole surviving Calthorpe Commer. A genuine piece of British motoring history.:D

Sorry, getting a bit patriotic there, which is ironic considering what I'm restoring! ;)

sure I remember seeing it - will get rummaging and ask friends to rummage too. Well found that man - if we have it I'll try and add it as reference on the articles link
