Hi everyone, we are new to this, my partner has found a 1965 commer camper with 2500 on th side, in his friends barn its been sat in the dry for about 12 years. Our friend is now trying to get hold of the guy who apparently emigrated to Australia to see if we can have it :)I got taken to see it on saturday and its not quite as bad as i was expecting, so hopefully we will be putting more questions on here soon for some helpful advice. Shame we were too late to come up to the commerfest, it looks like it was a great time. Hopefully speak to you all soon x

That's a great find and more reasonably priced than a previous barn find :)
 
Fingers crossed, they dont want big money for it! our friend said if they do then he will charge them ground rent for lol. We've now got the bug and want it and be able to get it on the road x What does the 2500 on the door mean?

hi mand and mark, welcome , 2500 means its a 25 cwt load rating, 15 cwt or 20 cwt,were other ratings, 2500 sometimes means top of the range or deluxe version , im sure other members will tell you more , hope this is of help steve,

pics please, just to add , the rating is on the rear springs only , as al the imfo i have the front springs are the same i could be wrong here !
