Hi all. Not really Commer related but I need to get a little cheap van thing. I would love another Commer but as I already have one and I need a work van for my future garden/handy man work. There is a P100 and a Carry locally for sale. Anybody has any input on reliability ete etc. Carry would be more practical but... As I haven’t even driven a car for about 10years I have no idea. Thanks

Never driven either but I did have a Sierra years ago which was a nice car. But I think the Suzi would be more fun - even if it will have a serious task to do.

Hi. Thanks for that. There was a Carry in town for sale. Owners were going back up north this morning so they bought it into work yesterday for me to see and then dropped it round my house last night so I didn’t have to get insurance straight away which was nice of them. My work lot said I can camp in that and get ride of the Commer. How very dare they

I can imagine, arms and legs hanging over the sides of the bed snoring you head off:D

Did you buy it?

Lol. Yup very tidy for age. High mileage but serviced and belts done and runs ok. Its like a baby battle bus (my commer nickname)

It does feel like that lol. Insurance was a mess though. As I have no no claims on 4 wheeels as not had a normal car for 10 yrs, filling in comparison site form it asked if I had any no claims on any vehicle which I put in 12, from my bike, not that it says why. Paid for insurance then next day got asked for proof????. Emailed that. 2days later said it’s no good. Only to find out burried in the small print t&c that can’t use a bike. Nor will they refund me for about a week. Bloody meerkats. Great little van though
