My bestest new ebay purchase (this week) has mostly bin...

a haynes manual for a hillman avenger!

loads of stuff on the available engine and the differences (and how to fake a holbay!). I'm currently enjoying the section on overdrives (coz I'm sad like that!)

go on - add it to your christmas list!

My first & 3rd car were Avengers, love them. I also used to have the Tiger version. It was not far off mint - I sold it for £600 in 92 :I

Im a bit of a stickler when it come to engine bays had to fit a new engine in my 205gti so ended up goin the full hog on it :I

I managed to paing the engine bay on the Morris, but it aint that shiny!

well done. I think I've seen your van build up before but to be honest I can look at that all day every day!

cheers jon :) got it for a bargain price off ebay, as it had no brackets,spouts,filler etc, so i was able to weld them on in exactly
the right places [8D] trouble now is it has to be half blanked off as it overcools :I makes a change from overheating though ;)
