Yep VEE DUB. Have a look at this. Maybe prices are on their way down finally?

I know it's still fairly high in price but not like we have seen of late!

maybe people have seen the light and the price of the commers and their extra space inside and individuality is driving the v dub prices down.;)
 
Ah, but it's 'only' a Bay window one. Not a Splittie - always going to be cheaper.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Make no mistake, i like Vee Dubs a lot and always have, but like most people i couldn't afford one that i liked. At the time i was looking for a camper i typed in Commer maybe once and bugger all came up so stopped looking after that and brought a Triumph Herald and a Morris Minor instead. Our van was found by pure accident alone. But i'm sooooo glad we did. It's funny how nobody remembers them when you mention one to people and yet they were all over the roads in the 60's 70's and 80's, even used by B.T Fire brigade, Post Office let alone many smaller buisness's?

I will point out though that the Commer was first choice when looking as i wanted one like we had when i was a kid. We had a beige Autosleeper which i'm still trying to badger my mum into finding a pic so i can see if it still lives?
